Luana and Jon's Hawk's Cay Wedding

Hello readers,

It hasn't been long, but since our kind and talented friends Victoria and Gaelle at Studio 1791 Photography were nice enough to share these photographs with us, we just couldn't wait to show them to you.

Luana and Jon were married at the Hawk's Cay Resort in Duck Key. Luana, being Brazilian, wanted lots of bright colors used in her wedding: plum, orange, hot pink, green, and yellow!

The ceremony took place outside on a perfect day. Here is the gazebo, beautifully decorated with strands of purple Dendrobium Orchids.

For the bride we created a bouquet with mango Mini Calla Lilies highlighted with green Cymbidium Orchids.

The groom matched with a green Cymbidium Orchid boutonniere, highlighted with a Guinea feather, Seeded Eucalyptus, and Horsetail.

And for the bridesmaids, a nosegay with a mix of orange and purple Mokara Orchids.

For the two flower girls to carry, we create a floral "purse" with Spray Roses and Misty Limonium, and a basket made of Horsetail with petals to scatter.

Our design for the outdoor place card table was a vase with green Cymbidium Orchids inside, topped with orange Lilies, Roses and Spray Roses, Mokara Orchids, and Misty Limoinium.

The party then moved indoors for the reception, and tables decorated brightly with a mix of vibrant colors: Roses and Spray Roses, Mokara Orchids, Mini Calla Lilies, Tulips, Orchids, Lilies, Veronicas, and touches of yellow Solidago and purple Misty Limonium.
